The 100 Year Lifestyle in Marietta
Care planned for the decades, not the episode.
The 100 Year Lifestyle is a chiropractic-founded longevity system created by Dr. Eric Plasker. Plasker Chiropractic is a certified provider, which means care here is organized around how well you will be living in thirty years, not only around this week's pain.
A system built by a chiropractor, not a marketing department
The 100 Year Lifestyle was developed by Dr. Eric Plasker and is built on a single premise: most people plan for retirement but not for the decades that follow it. Living longer is no longer the question. Living well through those extra years is. That is the standard care in this office is measured against.
Because it is a defined system with published principles, we describe it here as its founder does rather than inventing our own version. What follows are the 7 Pillars and the health philosophy as The 100 Year Lifestyle sets them out, and then what that actually looks like in a Marietta treatment room.
The 7 Pillars
The 100 Year Lifestyle organizes quality of life around seven areas. Chiropractic care sits inside the first one and supports several others, but the system is deliberately broader than the spine, because the things that determine how you age are broader than the spine.
- Health — proactive care, preventative habits, and maintaining physical well-being.
- Mindset — a positive, growth-oriented, and resilient outlook.
- Food — nutritious choices that fuel the body for longevity and vitality.
- Energy — managing both physical and emotional energy for daily living.
- Finances — planning resources wisely for long-term security and independence.
- Relationships — supportive connections with family, friends, and community.
- Purpose — living in alignment with personal meaning and goals.
Innate intelligence, interference, and the adjustment
The clinical philosophy behind the system has three parts. Your body has an innate intelligence: a self-regulating system that heals injuries, maintains balance, and adapts to daily stress without being asked. Interference is what disrupts the nervous system signals carrying that information between brain and body, and it accumulates from old injuries, posture, repetitive strain, and stress. The adjustment is the precise, gentle correction intended to remove that interference so normal nerve function can resume.
This is a functional model rather than a cure-all one. Restoring nervous system communication is a reasonable clinical goal with evidence behind it for musculoskeletal complaints. It is not a treatment for systemic disease, and no adjustment in this office will be presented to you as one.
What longevity-focused care looks like here
Care begins with an examination and history, because a plan built on assumptions is a plan that gets revised expensively later. We assess how your spine and nervous system handle the loads you actually place on them, then say plainly what we think is driving your problem and what we expect care to change.
Frequency drops as function improves. We would rather see you less often and have the gains hold than book you indefinitely. When the acute problem resolves, some patients move to occasional maintenance visits and some stop entirely, and both are legitimate choices we will support.
The book, the program, and what we actually sell
The 100 Year Lifestyle is also a best-selling book and a separate self-study product, the Human Potential & Longevity Program, sold by The 100 Year Lifestyle for $99. That package is digital — the book, the workout book, a guidebook, and the audiobook — and you buy it from them, not from us.
What Plasker Chiropractic provides is chiropractic care delivered by a certified provider inside that framework. If you want the reading materials, we will point you to the source. We would rather you got the real thing from the people who wrote it.
What happens if care is not working
You should be able to name a change within a few weeks — less pain, better sleep, further walked, easier mornings. If that has not happened, the plan is wrong and needs revisiting rather than repeating.
Some problems here are not chiropractic problems, and a longevity framework does not change that. Where the examination points elsewhere, we say so and refer, including to imaging or a physician when that is the right next step.

Before you book, the honest answers
The 100 Year Lifestyle certifies chiropractors who deliver care within its longevity framework, and maintains a provider directory of them. In practice it means the care model here is organized around long-term function and independence, using the published 7 Pillars and health philosophy rather than an approach we invented.
All three exist and they are different things. The book is Dr. Eric Plasker's best-seller. The Human Potential & Longevity Program is a separate $99 digital package sold by The 100 Year Lifestyle. The care you receive at Plasker Chiropractic is chiropractic care delivered inside that philosophy, and it is not the same thing as buying the program.
That depends on what the examination finds, and anyone who answers it before examining you is guessing. Visit frequency should fall as your function improves. If it is not falling, ask why.
No one can promise that, and we will not. What care can reasonably target is how well you move and how independent you stay in the decades you do get, which is the actual point of the framework.
